Carrie Connolly

Assistant Dean & Director of Enrollment Management

Carrie G. Connolly, Ed.D., joined The Honors College in July 2006 and serves as Assistant Dean and the Director of Enrollment Management. In this position, she directs the Guaranteed Admission Programs and serves as the primary point of contact for all concerns and questions related to Guaranteed Admission Programs and the Preferred Applicant Track Program. Additionally, Dr. Connolly oversees the general Honors College admissions process and works with prospective freshmen students and their families to answer questions and share the opportunities available through the Honors College.

Prior to the VCU Honors College, Dr. Connolly worked in various offices of student affairs, including residence life, student activities and first-year student services. Dr. Connolly is a member, Psi Chi, the national honor society in psychology, as well as an honorary member of Golden Key International Honour Society and Phi Eta Sigma. Dr. Connolly is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi and received the 2014 Phi Kappa Phi Love of Learning Award.

Dr. Connolly earned her Ed.D. for Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned her M.Ed. for College Student Personnel Administration and B.B.A. in Business Marketing from James Madison University.
