Graduates pursue wide array of futures
Our 126 spring 2018 graduates will move into a variety of exciting futures. Here’s an overview of some of their plans. For starters, 21 of these new alumni report that they will remain at VCU for graduate programs in a range of fields: biomedical engineering, computer science, dentistry, health administration, medicine, nursing, pharmacy and special education.
Some students will attend healthcare programs beyond VCU: at Baylor University Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, McGovern Medical School (Houston), New York University College of Dentistry, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy, University of Massachusetts School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, University of Virginia School of Medicine and Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis).
Still others have plans to attend these programs in other disciplines: McGill University experimental psychology Ph.D. in Montréal, Escuela Superior de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales art conservation in Madrid, University of New Hampshire MFA in creative writing, Cornell University Master of Industrial and Labor Relations, University of Limerick MA in Ethnochoreology, Old Dominion University Ph.D. in computational and applied mathematics.
And many will embark on fellowships, internships, jobs or travel plans. We congratulate them all!
