A Message from the Dean: Welcome Back, Honors Students

A man wearing a black suit jacket, white dress shirt and red tie.Welcome back to the Honors College at VCU!

For some of you, this week marks a welcome return to a place you know well, while for others it will be the start of your academic journey—but either way, I speak for everyone in the Honors College when I say that we are thrilled to have you on campus and as part of our Honors community. We know that there will be obstacles during the coming year, but the connections that you will forge with your peers, as well as the Honors faculty and staff, will provide you with the support that you need to thrive and challenge yourself to reach new goals.

As classes begin, I’m excited to see all of you on campus and am looking forward to learning more about your personal journeys to Richmond and hopes for the future.  If you have any questions or if I can do anything to help as the year progresses, please don’t hesitate to contact me (or any of my colleagues in Honors).

Welcome (back) to VCU!
