Defining: Community

The VCU Honors building as viewed from the north.Living in the Honors College residence hall opens the door to friendships, activities, and involvement. The Honors College residence hall houses 177 Honors students and is the only 9-month Housing contract to have single rooms and single baths.

Honors housing is more than just a dorm room; it's a daily opportunity to be a part of a close-knit community within the larger VCU campus. Attend classes, activities, and advising meetings just steps from your room.

  • Reserved space just for Honors students
  • Single room with private bathrooms
  • Educational and social programs that build community
  • The Honors Lounge, including a computer lab, study rooms, and music practice rooms
  • Honors faculty and staff offices on the first floor

Rooms in The Honors College residence hall are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Apply early, as housing is not guaranteed for all Honors students. To apply for Honors College housing, select the Honors College as your first choice on the VCU Housing Application.
