Emily Thompson joined the Honors College during the spring of 2022, where she serves as an Academic Advisor.
Prior to joining the Honors College, Emily worked as an advisor in the Biology Department at Virginia Commonwealth University. She also worked for several years as a high-school teacher in Chesterfield County, where she taught Chemistry and AP Chemistry courses.
Emily received her M.A.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction as well as her B.S. in Chemistry from the College of William and Mary. She is currently earning a Certificate in Computer Science in VCU’s College of Engineering.
