Monday, September 14
Preferred Applicant Track Student Panel
2 p.m.-3 p.m. | Honors Room 1303
Thinking about applying to a Preferred Applicant Track Program this year or next year? Sit back and relax with our Dirty Soda Bar and come learn from students who went through the application process and are now in a Guaranteed Admission Program. Bring your questions! Dr. Connolly, GA Program Director, will also be there for questions.

An Honors Peregrination to the Poe Museum

Honors adviser Jared Johnson will take 15 Honors students on a trip to the Poe Museum to learn about Edgar Allen Poe, his legacy on gothic fiction, and his relevance to the city of Richmond.
Intro to Weightlifting with Drs. Tyndall and Connolly
5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. | VCU Rec | Register Here
Join Drs. Tyndall and Connolly for an introduction to weightlifting class! All fitness levels are welcome. This is a great class for both absolute beginners and folks with experience. We will have great music, a great workout, and great company!

Highlights and Spooky History of Hollywood Cemetery
1 p.m.-3 p.m. | Hollywood Cemetery (meet in Honors College lobby) | Register Here
Honors College adviser Jared Johnson will take 15-20 honors students on a trip to Hollywood Cemetery to learn about the historical figures interred there and about the cemetery's significance to RVA History.
Andrew Goodman Foundation (AGF) Voter 101 Event
1 p.m.-3 p.m. | Honors Lobby
This event will provide students with information about voter registration, voting resources, important election dates and how to become informed and engaged voters. Representatives will also share information about AGF and opportunities for students to get involved in civic engagement.

Meet our cool TAs, learn about how we support you in writing courses and get tips on how to get involved in Honors and beyond.
Board Games with Faculty
4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. | Honors Room 1303
Come unwind and meet some of your instructors over a variety of board and card games! We can chat about classes over Catan, learn about each other during Hues and Clues, think about strategies for success while playing Scattergories, and much more! Snacks and games will be provided.
Friday, September 18
Honors Student Activities Fair
3 p.m.- 5 p.m. | Honors College Room 1303
Honors students are invited to meet representatives from different Honors College student organizations to learn about all of the opportunities Honors has to offer! This is a tabling event, and new students are welcome to come and go as they please throughout this 2-hour event. Snacks will be provided!
