Guaranteed Admission
The Honors College offers a variety of Guaranteed Admission Programs focused on health sciences. Guaranteed Admission Programs allow highly qualified students to enter their professional program without competing via general admission at a later date, provided all requirements of the Guaranteed Admission Program are met. In order to be accepted into a Guaranteed Admission Program, you must be accepted by the university, by the Honors College and by the selection committee of the Guaranteed Admission Program you wish to enter.
- Applications open in early August. The Guaranteed Admission Program applications and Common Application to VCU are due November 1 prior to the year of entry to VCU. Students who submit their Common Application to VCU by November 1 will automatically be considered for University-wide scholarships from the Office of Admissions.
Additionally, current Honors College students may apply for Guaranteed Admission at the end of their second year via the Preferred Applicant Track Program. Please note there is no Preferred Applicant Track Program for our baccalaureate Guaranteed Admission Programs.
